PC Sweeper
PC Sweeper is a rogue anti-spyware application. PC Sweeper spreads with the help of Trojans that can surreptitiously infiltrate computer systems. On entering a system, the trial version of PC Sweeper will generate a fake system scan, security alerts and pop-up warnings in order to trick a user into believing that his/her system is infected. The the user will be prompted to purchase the "licensed version" of PC Sweeper in order to remove all the purportedly detected malware threats. PC Sweeper is not to be trusted; it is a fake program that can neither detect nor remove computer threats.
