The PC Speed Cat program is published by a company called SpeedCAT, LLC that you may be lead to believe is a Silver Certified partner of Microsoft Corp. However, we did not find SpeedCAT, LLC listed at Partner.microsoft.com and the installer for the PC Speed Cat is detected by various AV developers with the following detection names:

The PC Speed Cat program may help users remove applications from booting with Windows as a way to speed up the loading of their OSes. You may be suggested that eliminating old Registry entries, inaccurate font entries, bad file associations, wrong application paths, out-of-date shared DLLs, help files, and ActiveX Controls should speed up your work on Windows. However, these claims have no real-world value considering that these operations bring unnoticeable changes to how Windows performs and users are not likely to experience significant improvements.
