EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

The PC OptiDriver makes a claim that is a beneficial and free application, but in truth, it acts as adware and a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) all in one. It will not help online activities, but instead, it hinders them. The PC OptiDriver finds its way onto a computer and then it begins showing advertisements embedded into websites and through pop-ups. These advertisements link to pages that sponsor the PC OptiDriver or even may end up downloading and installing software that the users may not want on their machines.
The freeware and ads offered by the PC OptiDriver also may occupy a lot of the websites browsed from the Web through advertisement injection during browsing. The Internet speed and overall speed of the computer also may be affected in some cases if it goes too far. The PC OptiDriver also may act as a way for attackers to collect passwords and registration information, potentially leading to credit card information theft and other harmful actions.
