PCClear

A computer application known as PCClear has been reported by several computer users as a major annoyance. Not only is PCClear annoying to these computer users but it attempts to persuade computer users into purchasing a full version of PCClear through several scare tactics. We have found PCClear to be nothing more than another rogue anti-spyware program which is an application that mimics the actions of a legitimate PC security tool.

Trust is a serious issue when it comes to PCClear (PC Clear) because it was created by hackers who have the intent to do nothing more than extort money from unsuspecting computer users. This process usually starts with installing PCClear from either a malicious website or Trojan horse parasite. After installation PCClear is apt to display misleading alert messages that attempt to warn users of a detected threat. These detected threats will also appear on system scan results which are all fabricated. Computer users are warned to never trust PCClear or its clever antics.
