The Package Tracking Pro is developed by a company called Polarity Technologies LTD. This Chrome extension offers to aid users in locating their parcels. A few years ago, perhaps, this could have been a truly useful extension to have, but nowadays pretty much all delivery companies provide the same service on their websites. That means no downloading and installation of shady software.

The Package Tracking Pro's interface is simplistic and poorly designed. It contains buttons to several social media websites and some other services regarding parcel delivery and tracking. The search tab uses Yahoo as a default search engine. Despite the lack of a particular use of this extension, the Package Tracking Pro isn't unsafe. However, it's important to note that the Package Tracking Pro is not only an essentially unnecessary service, but it also has certain demands to the user. This extension wouldn't work unless the users agree to allow it to set Search.searchm3p.com as their new default tab.

This extension wouldn't harm your system, but it may result in affecting your browsing experience negatively by demanding you use their new default tab. It's advisable that you uninstall the Package Tracking Pro either manually in the Google Chrome's settings, or remove it with a legitimate anti-spyware application.
