There have been numerous reports of disruptive advertisements associated with Object Browser, a known adware or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) infection. Object Browser is developed by Goobzo LTD, a known developer of PUPs. Object Browser may be installed on most Web browsers that run under the Windows operating system (including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer). In most cases, is installed by bundling Object Browser with free software downloaded from the Internet. Although associated with several freeware programs, Object Browser itself is often bundled with a freeware application known as 'YouTube Accelerator.'

The Advertisements that You Never Asked For
Once Object Browser is installed, Object Browser will immediately start delivering advertisements to the victim's Web browser. This advertisement may claim to be brought, delivered or created by Object Browser. If Object Browser were limited to delivering advertisements, malware researchers might not consider Object Browser problematic. However, the Object Browser may compromise your privacy. This is due to the fact that Object Browser has adware capabilities. Object Browser may spy on your online activities and reports to a third party with data about your computer settings and browsing habits. Since Object Browser advertisements and redirects may expose your computer to potentially unsafe content, these three aspects of Object Browser put together indicate that Object Browser poses a threat to your computer, despite the fact that Object Browser is not considered a threat.
Stopping the Annoyance
Since Object Browser is usually bundled with free software, it is possible to avoid Object Browser by paying attention when installing any software on your computer. In most cases, computer users may opt out of installing Object Browser by declining or clicking on a check box. Carefully installing new software may also prevent the installation of other PUPs similar to Object Browser on your computer. Object Browser itself should be deleted with a dependable security tool to ensure that Object Browser has not exposed your computer to potentially threatening content.
