EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:

Number Ascend is an adware tool that attaches itself to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer as an extension. Unlike the useful add-ons, however, Number Ascend often causes negative emotions. The adware is responsible for the creation of many ads in various forms. The user may see pop-ups, banners and hyperlinked keywords on different sites. The purpose of this behavior is to generate traffic towards the sponsored pages. This activity may slow down the browsing speed as the plugin seizes a part of the system's resources. In addition, it may take longer than usual to find the required information due to the automatic redirections that can force the browser to open unrelated domains. Users often install Number Ascend without their knowledge because the adware travels bundled with freeware. The greatest risk is that some of the ads may lead to potentially harmful sites. This is why you should consider removing the adware with a special anti-malware application.
