Were you browsing the Internet when a program called NoterSave appeared on your desktop without your participation? Don't be worried. NoterSave is an adware-related program that may have reached your machine bundled with a free application you downloaded recently. Although being advertised as a way to make notes and reminders that you can reach easily, the real purpose of NoterSave is to display numerous advertisements that you didn't ask for so that its developers can generate pay-per-click for themselves. The advertisements displayed by NoterSave may take the form of banners, pop-ups, coupons, etc. and may claim to be 'Brought to you by NoterSave,' 'Powered by NoterSave,' 'Ads powered by NoterSave' or 'RocketTab powered by NoterSave.'
These advertisements may promote fake software or updates, make a way to the installation of additional programs such as adware, PUPs and browser hijackers, turn aleatory content into hyperlinks and shows its advertisements on top of the Web page you are visiting, which makes it highly intrusive and annoying. However, you can stop all of the unwanted behavior of NoterSave by removing it from your computer. The easiest way to do it is by using an anti-malware product that will erase NoterSave and its components from your machine very quickly.
