Mystart.uninstallmaster.com serves as a home page provided by an extension connected to the freeware Uninstall Master. The page resembles a legitimate Google search page, but it has the Uninstall Master logo in the center and does not bring the same functionality as the authentic Google search engine. Users that employ the services of Uninstall Master are subjected to a torrent of ads and pop-ups on their screen. The extension installed along with Uninstall Master freeware is used as an advertisement platform for products by sponsors of the application. Uninstall Master is ad-supported and can be used by third-parties as a tool to gather browsing data from customers in order to develop better marketing strategies. The switching of the default home page to mystart.uninstallmaster.com and constant ads may be too much for many users. The removal of Uninstall Master should be considered.
