The MyMemory software is supposed to provide users with tools that would enable them to manage appointments, birthday parties, grocery shopping and other events efficiently. The MyMemory software may be seen under the name MyMemoryPackage and users may encounter the desktop app listed under the 'Advanced' and 'Custom' option of freeware bundles. The MyMemoryPackage (a.k.a MyMemory) may provide users with a small window in the bottom right corner of the desktop where they will find in an invitation to add, remove, and reorder events on their calendar. The functionality offered via MyMemoryPackage is fully supported by the native calendar app on the Windows 10 and partially on the Windows 7 and the Windows 8.1. You should not expect MyMemoryPackage to provide the same array of features that are present on the Google Calendar, Calendar.live.com and similar services. MyMemory offers users to set up just a few attributes to an event including date, time, name, reminder, location and add a note. However, the location option does not come with an embedded map; the notes are not clearly visible, and there is no option to set a color for the event.

MyMemoryPackage may expand your options when you need to set up an event on the calendar app on the Windows 7, but it does not compare to free services like those mentioned above favorably. Additionally, MyMemoryPackage is developed by CMI Limited that released riskware such as VuuPC, YellowSend and AnyProtect. You should note that MyMemory is an ad-supported software, which means you should expect to see advertisements on its interface and notes that you may add via MyMemory. The app may add promotions to your list of events and load a new tab in your browser that invites you to participate in marketing surveys. MyMemoryPackage is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may not provide the same array and quality of live tools, which are available via Google Calendar, Calendar.live.com and similar services. The ads inside MyMemory may annoy users and prove to be rather nagging. If you are not comfortable with using MyMemory by CMI Limited, it may be a good idea to use a credible anti-spyware tool to remove the program and related tracking cookies it may have downloaded to your PC.
