Despite what its name may imply, there are no fresh posts that can be found on Myfreshposts.com. Instead, users who land on the site will be subjected to a rather prolific browser-based tactic.
Websites such as Myfreshposts.com are created with a singular purpose - to trick users into subscribing to their push notifications. However, what they do not bring up is that users will then start receiving various unsolicited advertisements directly on their device's screen. To achieve their goal, these tactic websites employ numerous social-engineering tactics. Many pretend to be conducting a bot captcha check, but Myfreshposts.com has opted to go in a different direction by relying on people's curiosity.
When users land on Myfreshposts, they are shown a progress bar, supposedly for video, with the following text placed underneath it:
Click the 'Allow' button to subscribe to the push notifications and continue watching.
Doing so will give Myfreshposts.com the necessary browser permissions, and it will start generating advertisements for dubious third-party websites that may offer suspicious software updates or lead the users to shady online game sites.
It is recommended to take action the moment you see signs of Myfreshposts.com activity. Open the 'Settings' menu of the affected browser, find the 'Permissions' tab, and revoke everything that has been granted to this misleading website.
