The ads by MyBrowser that some users may experience should not be trusted because they are displayed by adware. The adware in question may use the slogan 'Ads by MyBrowser' as an attempt to convince the user that the ads are generated from their browser and are safe. However, security analysts do not advise users to click on the ads by adware because you could be invited to install software like DownQuick and SoftwareEnhancer. The software mentioned before may decrease your computer performance and load additional ads in your Web browser. The MyBrowser adware may have arrived on your computer as a browser extension, an add-on, a Browser Helper Object and a plug-in bundled with a freeware installer. The MyBrowser adware may place its files in the AppData folder and the Temp folder under the Windows directory to evade security scans. Security analysts point out that the MyBrowser adware may use tracking cookies, DOM storage data, and web beacons to display advertisements related to your recent Internet activities. Additionally, the MyBrowser adware is compatible with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox. The MyBrowser adware may employ banners, ad-boxes, pop-up and pop-under windows to show advertisements in your Web client. The MyBrowser adware may change you default home page and search provider to Antispyfortress.com and Browserseek.com without your consent. The websites mentioned before are associated with browser hijackers, and web surfers could be redirected to harmful domains and phishing pages. Therefore, you might want to use the service of a trusted anti-malware instrument to remove all files related to the MyBrowser adware securely.
