The MusixLib Search Extension is listed to be published by Musixlib.com that has released a separate version called Search by MusixLib available on Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/search-by-musixlib/gmoebkoglliamijedpdfchnpaeaapifb. Both versions are known to promote third-party products like the iTheatre Search Plus from Ienjoyapps.com and aim to push as many extensions to users as possible.
Both versions add an icon to the interface of Google Chrome and show links to h[tt]p://ext.musixlib[.]com. The second version even changes your primary search provider to music.eanswers.com and shows notifications in the browser, which might include tailor-suited promotions. We believe there is a single company that controls Searchalgo.com and Eanswers.com. Both portals are used to handle browser traffic from the Google Chrome extensions, which change the user's new tab and default search engine. That way, the company behind Musixlib.com, Searchalgo.com, and Eanswers.com can claim ad revenue from driving Web traffic to the Yahoo advertisements. The MusixLib Search Extension is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) by Musixlib.com, and you may want to use a respected anti-spyware suite to remove the app along with the following clones:
