You can surf the Internet and benefit from the MovieQuest extension for free, but you need to take into consideration that your primary search provider is changed to Movie-Hub.info, which would redirect you to search.yahoo.com. The MovieQuest program does not come with a user interface and does not support filters for content at the time of writing. The MovieQuest app is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that reroutes users to Search.yahoo.com and might fail to deliver the optimized search experience you are promised at Movie-Hub.info. The developers of the MovieQuest program allow users to add it to their Internet client for free. You might think the MovieQuest extension is entirely free, but that is not the whole truth. The MovieQuest extension requests the following privileges in Google Chrome before it is added to the browser:
- Read and change all your data on the websites you visit.
- Change your search settings to movie-hub.info.
The redirects via Movie-Hub.info to Search.yahoo.com allow the MovieQuest's developers claim ad revenue. The marketers related to MovieQuest from Movie-Hub.info may have access to your Internet history, bookmarks collection and input in the Omnibox. That may allow them to produce targeted commercials for your IP address whenever you load Search.yahoo.com. The MovieQuest software may prevent users from changing their default search engine and make sure you are forced to visit Movie-Hub.info as long as you keep using the MovieQuest extension. PC users who might not like the intrusive behavior of the MovieQuest browser extension from Movie-Hub.info may be interested in removing it with a reliable anti-spyware scanner.
