The ads by Microengine may take the form of banners, pop-ups and contextual and transitional advertisements as well as in-text hyperlinks to sponsored products. Also, clicks on ads provided by the Microengine adware may direct you to visit low-quality online shops and unsafe Internet locations where your browser vulnerabilities could be exploited. You may want to know that the Microengine adware travels incorporated with freeware setup files that most users do not handle via the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' option. You should note that the Microengine adware creates a registry key in Windows to auto-start with your OS and may use a browser extension, an add-on, and a Browser Helper Object to execute its operations. Additionally, the Microengine adware may use web beacons, HTTP cookies and read your browser history in order to display targeted marketing content.
