Trojan:Win32/Micrass or Micrass for short is a trojan that is designed to help attackers install other malware on systems infected with Trojan:Win32/Micrass. Micrass is a trojan dropper that can place its file in the temp folder of Windows to evade detection, and that can create a registry key in Windows to ensure its auto-start every time you launch your OS. Micrass can gather information like your IP address, PC name and what ports are available in order to help its handlers find a suitable attack vector that they can use to install malware on your computer. Security analysts note that users should avoid spam emails because Micrass is deployed in spam campaigns. Moreover, download and opening of attachments to spam emails is never a good idea because you can become a victim of a number of cyber threats such as viruses and keyloggers. You can take advantage of the features provided by a reputable anti-malware solution that can secure your data and Internet activities.
