The Meltdown malware threat along with the Spectre counterpart are vulnerabilities that have been taken advantage of in the past through flaws within Intel computer chips and processors. The Meltdown vulnerability is found and leveraged by hackers who mostly attack Intel servers or systems that utilize certain Intel processors.
