Meltdown Description

The Meltdown malware threat along with the Spectre counterpart are vulnerabilities that have been taken advantage of in the past through flaws within Intel computer chips and processors. The Meltdown vulnerability is found and leveraged by hackers who mostly attack Intel servers or systems that utilize certain Intel processors.

The past of Meltdown has reveled to us many instances where the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities have been leveraged in ways to exploit systems and even take over computers. Computer users who are concerned about the Meltdown vulnerabilities will want to keep their antimalware resources updated to prevent attacks or further issues resulting from such a threat.
