EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

Media Buzz is an unwanted browser extension, which may be used to perform numerous undesired activities on a PC. Media Buzz may act as a tracking cookie and gather personal information from a computer user, show repeated pop-up advertisements, cause browser diversions to unreliable websites that may be commercial and lead to undesired system notifications on all Web browsers installed on the computer. Media Buzz belongs to the category of potentially unwanted programs or adware. Media Buzz may compromise a Web browser and then show non-stop pop-up ads, in-text ads, underlined keywords, video ads, search ads and other sponsored notifications. If advertisements with the text 'Ads by Media Buzz', 'Powered by Media Buzz', 'Media Buzz Deals' and 'Brought to you by Media Buzz' are shown on the PC, and the Web browser gets unwillingly redirected to untrustworthy websites, this may indicate that the computer is affected by Media Buzz adware. Media Buzz may be distributed and enter the PC as an additional application bundled with free software.
