The Master Gamer software is offered on Master-gamer.net and free software packages as a program that can deliver fast-paced games, puzzles, FPS and access to cheats and tips. The Master Gamer software is developed and maintained by Howard Software Ltd that are known for creating and distributing badware such as Gizmodock and FixCleanRepair. Advertisers support the continuous development of the Master Gamer software. The Master Gamer software may install a plug-in, add-on, extension or Browser Helper Object into your Internet client to show promotional materials. The Master Gamer software may write a registry entry in Windows to be run as a background service in the Windows Task Manager and ensure its operations every time you turn on your PC. Security researchers consider the Master Gamer program to be adware that may redirect Web surfers to harmful websites and collect information such as their OS version, IP and MAC address, browser type, and bookmarks collection to help advertisers show tailor-suited ads. Also, the Master Gamer adware may use cookies, pixels, Web beacons and DOM storage data to facilitate behavioral marketing.
