Mal/FakeAV-CX

Mal/FakeAV-CX is a dangerous Trojan that can secretly infect a computer and run in the background. On execution, Mal/FakeAV-CX will redirect a victim's browser to malicious websites that promote rogue anti-spyware applications. Mal/FakeAV-CX will drop additional malware onto a compromised PC and generate fake security alerts or pop-up warnings. These fake security notifications will prompt the victim to purchase a rogue security application in order to remove the "detected" malware. Remove Mal/FakeAV-CX from your system immediately after detection.
