EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

M6 Processing is a botnet/PUP (potentially unwanted program) that is produced by M6 Processing Ltd (Pysy Software). The creators of M6 Processing may declare that it permits computer users to connect PCs worldwide to solve complex PC problems. Web users should not believe M6 Processing because its functionality may be identical to malware threats that may turn computer systems into bitcoin miners and consume PC resources without the computer user's agreement. Upon installation, M6 Processing may cause privacy issues or delivery of disturbing pop-up advertisements on the computer. PC users may install M6 Processing as optional software when downloading and installing free tools from insecure download websites by missing the important installation steps of the free application they are downloading. M6 Processing may also proliferate via downloads of bogus Web browser updates and video players.
