LookThisUp is an adware program that may load up on a system due to the user installing random freeware programs or bundled software all obtained from a downloads site. Through the use of LookThisUp ads, computer users may notice that their web browser redirects them to other sites. Some of those sites are proven to be unwanted and may have questionable content on them that attempts to offer various services or products through the internet. The LookThisUp ads may be displayed as pop-ups or banners where they become rather intrusive when you are surfing the internet. LookThisUp ads may also reduce performance of some web browser applications making it a difficult case for loading sites or pages that have a lot of media or graphics. Eliminating the LookThisUp ads and preventing them from displaying again may require finding all components or files related to LookThisUp and removing each of them.
