This add-on is purported to help you save time and money when shopping online. LighterInstance displays advertisements and pop-ups whenever you browse the web, especially when visiting online shopping sites like eBay and Amazon. When browsing for a specific product, LighterInstance will display ads for similar products, enticing you to click on them. However, great care should be employed when dealing with LighterInstance. The ads and banners this add-on displays may be potentially harmful to your computer, redirecting you to dangerous websites and promoting fake products. Based on its distribution method and shady practices, LighterInstance is classified as a PUP(Potentially Unwanted Program) with adware capabilities.
