Krotten is a dangerous Trojan infection. On penetrating a computer system, Krotten will change Internet Explorer's default webpage; disable the registry editor, control panel and Windows task manager. Krotten will give remote attackers access to a compromised machine and the sensitive information stored on it. Krotten may also display annoying pop-ups and cause the system to deteriorate in performance thus making the system vulnerable to other malware attacks.
