Key Shift is a Possibly Unwanted Program that may exhibit sponsored links, coupons and other advertisements related to the merchandise or service the online shopper is looking for. Key Shift pop-up advertisements may be displayed as underlined keywords or as boxes, which contain numerous available coupons that when clicked may show a pop-up advertisement that claims it was sent to the PC user by Key Shift. Key Shift is an extension for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome that may be bundled with freeware when computer users install free programs such as video recording/streaming, download managers or PDF creators. When PC users install these free software products, they may also install Key Shift. Key Shift may also show advertising banners on the websites that Internet users are visiting, and as they browse the Web, Key Shift may show coupons and other deals available on numerous websites.
