The JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE Trojan is a dangerous malware infection that is usually the first step in a full-blown malware attack. ESG security researchers consider that JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE is an extremely dangerous threat to your computer system. The main function of JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE is to connect to a remote server and to download and install other Trojans and malware invaders on your computer system. Because of this, the effects of JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE are quite variable from one computer system to the other, depending on the malware that JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE downloads and installs on your hard drive. ESG security researchers have detected a marked increase of JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE Trojan attacks in the wild. In fact, JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE tops the list for the most widespread malware infection in the wild, according to various anti-malware security programs. The increase in the use of JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE to distribute malware is probably related to this malware infection's ease of use, which allows criminals to embed its malicious code into a web page designed specifically for the purpose of exploiting security vulnerabilities in the victim's computer system and Internet browser in order to inject JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE into the victim's computer. If you suspect that you have been exposed to JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE either through a social engineering scam or through an attack website, ESG security researchers recommend that you run a full scan of your hard drives with a strong, reliable, anti-malware application.

JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE Allows other Trojans to Invade Your System

Unlike a virus or a worm, Trojans have no way of spreading on their own. A Trojan will usually need the user to download and install the threat onto their computer. Because of this, Trojans will usually be delivered onto a computer system through deception or through the use of a secondary malware infection. JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NKE plays this role, installing other Trojans on the victim's computer system. Also, much like the soldiers that were packed into the original Trojan horse, Trojans are also designed to deliver a payload, usually made up of a group of malicious file, to be installed on the victim's computer.

It's very difficult to ptcreot a system from ignorant users. Flexible and secure are nearly opposites. But, as android takes over more market share, it's bound to be more targeted (a'la Windows which is, in many ways, more secure than OSX these days and annoying to use. See how that works? I use IOS, droid, OSX (MacOS before that), *nix (including *real* ones and (rarely anymore) Windows. I've used every version of each of those. I did security research, malware analysis, and countermeasures for years on all those platforms. (paid cracking and hacking)Personal best practices keeps bad stuff away. Simple, easy, and effective. There's nothing inherent in the OS's (for the most part) and the idea of ecosystem safety is a thin veil.IOS can be cracked just as easily. The vectors are just not as obvious.
