JS:Redirector-B is a JavaScript Trojan that repeatedly reroutes the compromised web browser to doubtful advertisement websites. Cybercriminals create misleading websites with an aim to raise traffic and earn money from click fraud. JS:Redirector-B is identified as a malevolent JavaScript file that inject a harmful code into the targeted web browser. JS:Redirector-B can affect .HTM and .PHP files. JS:Redirector-B insert a code into these files to locate and run a script from an external server. While being executed, JS:Redirector-B immediately creates a browser helper object (BHO) on the corrupted machine leading to disturbing diversions of the web browser and hijack of search results. JS:Redirector-B also reroutes victims to unsafe websites that spread other malware infections. JS:Redirector-B distributes other security threats to the affected PC and helps them to evade detection and removal of security tools.
