Online advertisers may sometimes utilize unfair techniques to propagate their advertisements to as many people as possible. One of the unfair techniques used to achieve this involves the use of suspicious software known as 'adware.' Adware apps can inject all sorts of advertisements in the user's Web browser, even while the user browses websites that don't include ads by default. JellySplit is another example of adware that may bother users with unwanted and potentially harmful ads. JellySplit doesn't have an official download location, so its propagation strategy may rely solely on software bundling and similar unfair propagation techniques. JellySplit may be installed on your computer when you install freeware or shareware apps, so we advise you should be extra attentive to the installation instructions of free software you are not familiar with. It may be possible to decline JellySplit's installation if you are cautious.
If your Web browser is overwhelmed with JellySplit Ads, there's a high probability that the JellySplit browser extension may have been installed on your computer without your knowledge. Keep in mind that JellySplit is adware, and it doesn't put your computer in danger, so you shouldn't be too worried. However, having JellySplit installed may have an adverse impact on your Web browsing experience since this adware may inject numerous ads in any Web page you visit. JellySplit ads may include banners, pop-ups, full-page ads, sponsored search results and in-text ads. Apart from displaying advertisements, JellySplit also may gather information about the user's browsing habits and use the gathered data for marketing purposes.
