'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware, otherwise known as 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Virus, is a ransomware infection, which affects computer users in Turkey. 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware is distributed by attackers via infectious websites or downloads of malicious files. 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware is spread to the attacked computer system via a ransomlock Trojan and, while being installed, covers a screen with a fake pop-up image/notification 'DIKKAT! Sizin kisisel bilgisayar guvenlik hususunda asagidaki nedenlerle bloke edilmis', which contains a webcam and a list of illegitimate online activities allegedly executed on the compromised PC. The Trojan blocks the infected computer system and does not enable computer users to launch any commands. The intimidating pop-up alert of 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware states that the PC user has been downloading and dispersing copyrighted content involving software, video and audio, visiting dangerous websites or sending spam emails to other computer users and, thus, breached certain laws. The bogus warning message of 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware also declares that an operating camera added to the alert is used to record the PC user's files, audio and video for his/her identification. The frightening warning message of 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware supposedly comes from the Jandarma Genel Komutanligi, in order to make PC users believe the announcement is real. 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware demands a ransom of 100 Euro to be paid via Ukash or Paysafecard to restore access to the computer system and avoid jail. You should not believe the scary pop-up notification of 'Jandarma Genel Komutanligi' Ransomware because it's a hoax designed by attackers to steal money from credulous computer users.
