The 'ivpnconfig.com' pop-ups is an online tactic that appears to target iOS, Android, and Windows users. These pop-ups contain data in regards to the performance, health, and security of the user's device. The purpose is to induce the user into believing that there is a serious issue with their device that needs to be resolved immediately. The 'ivpnconfig.com' pop-ups would offer a supposed solution to the problem.

These dodgy pop-ups would ask the user to call a phone number that is meant to provide them with legitimate technical support that would help them resolve the issue. However, it is best to avoid calling the phone number associated with the 'ivpnconfig.com' pop-ups as you will not get access to genuine technical support, but you will get to speak to experienced conmen. The con-artists would either try to convince you to subscribe to useless technical support services or purchase bogus security software.

According to reports, iOS users targeted by the 'ivpnconfig.com' pop-ups would see a fraudulent message stating that 'Hacker Is Tracking You!' This fake message claims that the users have only two minutes to download and install an application that is meant to ensure their connection's security. The fraudsters claim that unless the users install the application, the hacker will obtain their photos and browsing history and then send it to all their contacts. However, these claims are bogus, and there is no 'hacker' that is trying to collect your data.

If you stumble upon pop-ups that claim to have detected serious issues present on your device, there is a huge possibility that you have been targeted by fraudsters. Ignore the claims of the 'ivpnconfig.com' pop-ups as they are made up completely.
