IRCbot.CPH

IRCbot.CPH is a backdoor Trojan that mainly propagates via infected email attachments. IRCbot.CPH can also spread via network shares and IRC channels. Once active, IRCbot.CPH tries to connect to an IRC server and await commands from an unauthorized remote attacker, who will also try to gain access and control over the targeted machine. IRCbot.CPH downloads and executes malicious files onto the infected computer system. IRCbot.CPH may reroute web users to infected websites and reconfigure system settings. It is highly recommended to uninstall IRCbot.CPH as soon as possible.
