By GoldSparrow in Potentially Unwanted Programs

The iPadian program is advertised on Xpadian.com as an answer to some users that want to run games and apps for Mac OS on their Windows OS computer. The iPadian software claims to be a powerful iOS simulator for Windows, but our researchers report otherwise. iPadian is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program with adware capabilities that might cause system errors, decrease your computer performance and hog up your system resources to aid cloud computing tasks. The iPadian software may allow you to run a limited number of apps for iOS and read ebooks in a similar fashion to iPad, but it may prove resource heavy and prevent you from loading other applications on your Windows OS. Security researchers report that the installer of iPadian is found to contain adware like Live Video Search Plus, DownPay, and Emotypecon. The adware applications that travel incorporated with iPadian may display pop-up and pop-under windows, banners and floating ads on your desktop screen and Internet browser. The iPadian software may change the layout of your desktop to introduce visual elements and programs from iOS that might limit your productivity and lack in functionality compared to many tools designed for Windows. Computer users that install the iPadian software may not be able to run native Windows programs within the interface of the iPadian app and find that stressful. IPadian Systems, Inc. that develops the iPadian software may use it to monitor what websites you visit and what you download via session cookies and reading your download history. The iPadian app may use JavaScript to inject coupons, discounts and offers from sponsors on the websites you visit most often. Security researchers alert that usage information is gathered by iPadian, and that may include your bookmarks collection, Internet history, software configuration and MAC address. Moreover, the iPadian software might redirect you to harmful websites where the Styx and G01pack Exploit kits might be loaded and allow third parties to breach your cyber security. Users are advised to incorporate a trusted anti-malware suite into their Windows OS to prevent damages by iPadian and delete the associated binary.
