Info Seeker is a PUP (potentially unwanted program) developed by Big Water Applications LLC. Info Seeker may declare to make the activity of the PC user's Internet by permitting to search for highlighted phrases in websites such as Google Maps, WolframAlpha and Wikipedia. Info Seeker may also be considered to be adware. The Info Seeker add-on may be embedded in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome Web browsers. The browser extension of Info Seeker may use misleading marketing tactics to disperse and insert itself into the PC. Info Seeker may install itself on the computer system packed with a variety of free programs that PC users download from untrustworthy download websites. Once installed, Info Seeker may create and show a variety of types of non-stop ads incorporating in-text, banner, and interstitial advertisements with the aim to most likely generate advertising revenue for its creators.
