InboxAce is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that, in its default configuration, will change your browser homepage, start page, and new tab page to new pages selected by InboxAce. In addition, InboxAce is designed to add a new default search engine to your browser, and that search engine may gather information about your Internet searches and browsing for the purpose of displaying targeted advertising to you (and possibly for other purposes). The operation of InboxAce is described in the Mindspark end-user license agreement and privacy policy, currently available here: http://eula.mindspark.com/eula/. That policy states that InboxAce may allow third parties to place ad tags or beacons on your computer. The policy also states that InboxAce is exposed to various security issues and should be regarded as insecure. We consider InboxAce a PUP for these and other reasons.
