EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

You should always be careful when you install cost-free applications. Their developers may agree to include third-party software in their own executable files for a certain commission. If you are encouraged to install a so-called browser assistant named HugeRebates during the setup process of freeware, you should think twice before giving your permission. This tool is adware, which means that its primary function is to generate advertising materials. The new commercial elements are not there to help you but to boost the traffic towards partner sites. The owners of the promoted pages that get visitors may attempt to sell some products. For this reason, they pay referral commissions to the developers of HugeRebates. While these people get revenue, you may experience some issues with your Web clients.
First of all, the pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads and videos exhibited by this adware tend to be irritating since you may see them on most sites. Second, the presence of these commercial materials may cause performance problems because their loading may seize part of your PC's resources. Then, the operating speed may decrease significantly. What is more, some occasional freezes and even crashes also may be possible. Third, you can never be certain about the direction of these ads. In some cases, the ad-oriented extensions have led unsuspecting users to questionable, fraudulent or threatening pages. For this reason, no matter how appealing the commercial materials may seem to be, you should avoid them. HugeRebates claims that it will improve the searching for information by allowing you to perform a search of any text that you highlight. All of the popular browsers have this function, so you should consider removing this adware from your PC.
