HTML:Script-inf is a virus that is known as a generic detection for a malicious HTML script which is injected into malicious websites. HTML:Script-inf signifies that a website being accessed is corrupted by a script that may distribute other malware infections on the targeted machine. The main goal of HTML:Script-inf is to block the script from executing damaging activities on the victim's computer. When security tools recognizes HTML:Script-inf on local files (offline), it implies that the PC is already affected. Files found as HTML:Script-inf are usually infected files that were cached on the computer system when browsing unidentified websites.
