Hold Page is viewed as a Possibly Unwanted Program by security experts. What makes Hold Page to be considered a PUP is that Hold Page is related with an adware program that was elaborated as an advertising platform. Hold Page may cause problems to your computer and Web browser. Hold Page is a browser extension compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. After being installed, Hold Page may display countless advertisements on random Web pages visited by the computer user. These advertisements will flow over the Web page's content and prevent the computer user from reaching its original content. Hold Page also may monitor the PC user's browsing activities and share the collected data with its sponsors. Even if some of the advertisements displayed by Hold Page may be useful, its negative side leads to the conclusion that Hold Page should be removed from an affected computer.
