The HDview browser application by Cossrider platform is deemed by security experts as adware and should not be mistaken with the legitimate HDView software from Microsoft Research that is used to enhance online media. The HDview adware uses the name of the reputable software by Microsft Research and freeware packages to spread on many systems and display advertisements. The successful installation of the HDview browser application may cause the appearance of a browser extension, an add-on or a Browser Helper Object depending on what web browser you are using. The HDview adware may push many ads, pop-ups and banners while you are exploring the web and that might obstruct your web routine.
