Trojans that distribute this rogueware and hijack browsers are responsible for frequent redirection to Harmfullwebsitecheck.com. Users infected with Total Security 2009 will be bombarded with fake security alerts and prompts to "Activate my Web protection software" by clicking on the link. The link will direct a user to Harmfullwebsitecheck.com/pre1 or Harmfullwebsitecheck.com/pre2, the payment pages for the rogueware. Total Security 2009 is a useless application which should never be purchased and Harmfullwebsitecheck.com should never be trusted.
