Gtenormous.club is an unsafe website that uses a fraudulent technique to make online visitors subscribe to its browser notifications. Gtenormous.club uses an Internet tactic that aims to advertise dubious content on the Internet, like pages with adult content, websites with cracked/fake software, online games, and other Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs).

To conduct its scheme, Gtenormous.club displays an error message saying:

“Gtenormous.club wants to Show notifications

Click Allow to confirm that you are not a robot!”

If the users agree and click on the “Allow” message, they start receiving third-party pop-ups and banners on their screens directly, even if they have not launched a browser on their device currently.

Gtenormous.club’s permission to send notifications can be removed from the Settings of the affected browser. However, if the annoying messages keep showing up, the computer could be infected with an adware program. Additional symptoms of an adware infection are an unsolicited change in the browser’s default search engine and homepage, as well as redirects to unknown and potentially unsafe websites.
