Go Maps

The Go Maps application is a Branded Tab product by Adknowledge, Inc. that is promoted under the name Go Maps by SaferBrowser at Gomaps.co/maps?. The Go Maps program is offered as an optimized tab solution for users that open services like Google Maps and Here Maps often. The [AppName] by SaferBrowser line of products by Adknowledge, Inc. are classified as Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) because they change most of the browser's settings and are known to limit the user's online experience. For example, Login Faster by Safer Browser, Easy Weather Access by Safer Browser and Fast Email Checker by Safer Browser work identically to Go Maps and may change the user's homepage and new tab page settings. The modifications are permanent and users will need to remove the Go Maps extensions if they want to change their browser settings.
