Gnip

By GoldSparrow in Trojans

Gnip is a computer trojan horse that is being used by hackers to steal banking data so they may access online banking accounts. As a banking trojan, Gnip may be used in ways to target login data that belongs to online banking accounts or at least entice computer users to enter their login credentials on phishing sites.

During the end of 2019, Gnip received many updates making it more aggressive and sophisticated in how it targets computer users where it may be included within various apps offered through third party sources on the Internet. The dangerous of Gnip alone should prompt computer users to always utilized the necessary resources to protect their system or safely detect and remove threats like Gnip.
