Giraudules.club is an Internet tactic that aims to deliver advertisements and pop-up messages to targeted computers or mobile phones directly. Users get redirected to this useless and unsafe page by advertisements injected with corrupted scripts, or a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) like a browser hijacker or adware installed on their devices. Once the Giraudules.club page launches, it obtains users' permission to send them browser notifications through a simple social engineering trick. When people land on this page, they see a message with the following text:

'Giraudules.club wants to Show notifications

Click Allow to confirm that you are not a robot!'

Malware experts warn never to click on the 'Allow' button on pages like this one, as that would allow them to flood your system with advertising pop-ups, fake warnings, questionable surveys or bogus deals and offers automatically. Giraudules.club messages can redirect users to untrusty websites and services, representing a severe danger to users' cybersecurity.

Browser hijackers also can modify the browser settings to cause redirects and generate revenues for cybercriminals, while many PUPs also have data-tracking features. Experts recommend removing browser hijackers and other potentially harmful tools through an anti-malware program.
