The GetTab New Tab software from h[tt]p://gettab[.]website/ is promoted as an excellent new tab replacement for Google Chrome users. The GetTab New Tab appears to include a to-do list, a weather forecast feed, and it allows you to change the new tab background image and search the Internet via an integrated search engine. The GetTab New Tab extension can be downloaded from its official page and the entry on the Chrome Web Store:

You may want to reconsider installing the GetTab New Tab application because it performs browser redirects via h[tt]p://searchkska[.]xyz/search/yh/?sub=631148&q=[KEYWORD] to h[tt]ps://us.search[.]yahoo.com/search?fr=[KEYWORD]. Additionally, both IP addresses associated with h[tt]p://gettab[.]website/ and h[tt]p://searchkska[.]xyz appear to be used by more than a dozen browser hijackers and corrupted programs. AV engines are known to block content from the 198.54.116.164 and the 62.109.15.15 IP addresses, as well as display alerts with the following detection names:
