GenesisOffers is a potentially unwanted add-on produced by EXACT TARGET SOLUTIONS, S.L. The GenesisOffers browser extension may declare to help PC users find best deals, offers and discounts coupons available on the Internet. GenesisOffers is categorized as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) or adware. GenesisOffers may be distributed and install itself on the PC as an optional tool through packaged free applications that computer users download from questionable download websites. Once installed, the browser plug-in of GenesisOffers may trace the computer user's online browsing routine by recording a variety of software and hardware information, for example, the IP address, cookies, unique identifier number, Web browser type, OS and other similar details. GenesisOffers may create a variety of types of non-stop commercial ads such as text-link, banner ads, pop-up ads and other ads possibly with the aim to generate advertising income from clicks on ads.
