Generic.dx!uzs is a backdoor Trojan parasite that uses SMTP client engine capabilities to send out fake email messages. These emails could be laced with malicious links or attachments. After a system is infected with Generic.dx!uzs it can then be susceptible to being compromised by a remote attacker. Additionally, Generic.dx!uzs is known to go undetected to the computer user after it has loaded into memory at startup of Windows. The only way some computer users may know their system is infected is if they notice the bogus popup alerts to be abnormal. Otherwise, Generic.dx!uzs remains to be difficult to near impossible to manually remove. Automatic removal is possible with the use of an up-to-date spyware removal program.
