Generic Dropper.p is a Trojan that is a part of a phishing attack and is distributed to targeted PCs as an email message sent from Benny Gantz (head of the Israeli Defense Forces). The fake email carries the malicious phishing email attachment, which, if executed, infects the computer system with Generic Dropper.p. Generic Dropper.p affects the Israeli police. Generic Dropper.p can also propagate via malicious or hijacked websites, Internet Relay Chat (IRC), unsolicited email attachments, peer-to-peer networks, ant other means. When on a corrupted PC, unsolicited may create malicious files and modify the Windows Registry. unsolicited can also communicate with a remote server and download other malware infections onto the affected computer system.
