Generic5.ALAJ may target all Web browsers installed on the PC involving Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Once installed, Generic5.ALAJ may usually insert an add-on, plug-in or browser extension and start displaying commercial pop-up ads and messages while computer users are browsing the Web. The pop-ads of Generic5.ALAJ may carry suspicious links continuously redirecting computer users to unreliable websites that were designed with the purpose to possibly gain benefit from raised website traffic.
