Even though Gearscroll is not a computer virus, it may cause several advertisement pop-ups to appear that could redirect computer users to unwanted sites. Additionally, Gearscroll Ads may be added to a computer without any indication to the computer user. Usually installation of Gearscroll Ads takes place with installing various freeware programs from the internet. During this process Gearscroll Ads may add add-ons and plugins to your web browser application causing redirects or display of random ads. Removal of Gearscroll Ads files may require using a trusted antispyware tool.
