Frevens Pro is an adware threat that may be used to display numerous annoying pop-up advertisements on the PC each time the computer user is browsing the web. Frevens Pro may be installed into Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. If the PC user clicks on random pop-up ads from Frevens Pro, he may get repeatedly rerouted to affiliated websites that may aim to boost web traffic of the questionable website this way. Frevens Pro may also attempt to gain benefit from clicks on ads. Frevens Pro may keep track of the computer user's browsing habits and transmit this information to third-parties for targeted advertising purposes. Frevens Pro may be distributed and installed onto the PC as an optional program bundled with free applications that computer users downloaded from unreliable download websites.
